For whom?
There are thousands of nerve endings in and around the anus – it’d be a shame if they were wasted on boring stuff like safely managing defecation.
How?
Butt plugs are designed to slip easily into the rectum when lubed, and can potentially stay there for several hours. Plugs are generally flanged so they don’t inadvertently disappear into the depths of the colon, risking both injury and a difficult A&E conversation.
