How?
Sponges, both natural sea sponges and synthetic versions, can be squished up for vaginal insertion and, once in, they expand to fill the space and absorb flow. Just remember to take them out – carefully.

Menstrual sponges can be washed, sterilised in water and vinegar, and reused for around six months.
